Likes: It works well. The glass door stays clear unless I accidentally let it smolder when the stove isn\'t already hot. The firebox has plenty of room. Puts out plenty of heat and is a joy to watch.

Dislikes: My only complaint is that the fan is pretty noisy. When it\'s not running full blast, the fan motor has a loud hum. When it\'s running full blast, the loud hum goes away, but the air movement is now just as loud. I can\'t hear when someone knocks or rings the doorbell. When I have company over, I have to turn the fan all the way off.

Comments: As far as the \"extended burn technology,\" I was expecting it to operate when my logs were still burning. It actually doesn\'t begin to operate until you are down to coals and not even the hot orange coals, only after they are barely glowing. So in my experience, the only benefit from the extended burn technology is that it reduces just about all your coals to ash by morning. I don\'t feel that it considerably lengthens the amount of time that it produces heat.
