Likes: Easy to install through outside wall. Simple multifuel operation, pellet / corn. To clean both side panels swing open very easy to access, repair ect. Fairly large ash pan. My 2004 stove calles for regular P-vent, works fine much cheaper and only mild staining inside after 4 winters.

Dislikes: Forget keeping glass clean. Grinder makes soot, better to make or buy a clinker pot, its quieter too by a third. Like any pellet stove auger motor can break due to debris jamming auger. No auto ignitor, only a slight hindrance during the shoulder months.

Comments: Stove lets you burn corn / pellets or mix as price dictates since both fuels fluctuate wildly recently. SEE forums for much detailed how to\'s questions comments on this stove. There is an entire section dedicated to American Energy Systems there. Also info on fine tuning, modifying, discounted parts sources and repair advice. Do hook up a remote thermostat it will save you much $$$$, ( millivolt type stat only) won\'t work with others.
