Likes: Radiant heat last for hours after fire has burned out

Dislikes: Does take a little work to start and maintain a fire when cold, but well worth the effort I put in.

Comments: Our first wood stove and I cannot be happier. I am so glad I made the decision to pay a little extra for the soapstone stove. Been using the stove for approximately three weeks now and we have had many nights where the temp has dropped into the low teens. It has heated our entire split level home and we have only turned our gas furnace on for about an hour total since we began burning wood. (This was only in the early morning hours after the all night burn had almost extinguished and we wanted to get a little bit of quick heat in the house in the morning for the kids before school). A really outstanding stove, would recommend it to anyone.
