Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): 800 | House Size (Sq feet): 2500
Bought in 1998 , Price Paid: 1200.00
Location : Brighton, MI 48114, USA
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - Scott's Fireplaces

Likes: Good heat output. Good looks. Blower is quiet on LOW. Decent burn time (8+hrs.) Excellent price. Can fit 24" logs. Has ash dump & drawer.

Dislikes: Fan is loud on HIGH (minor issue). Ash drawer could be larger (minor issue). Biggest complaint: Smoke-back into room if loading with flaming fire present (Not a problem when only embers & coals are present, but it is not always convenient to wait until this phase of the fire). No control of secondary burn airflow supply.

Comments: Dealer was great with sale; very pleasant people. Unit should have damper bypass like some competitors do to help prevent smoke-back into room. Fits 24" logs side to side, but works better with 16" logs laying front to back. Glass stays relatively clean (soot free), but does develop white ash coating after 3 days continuous burn (easily cleans off after cool-down).
