Throws good heat. Holds hot coals for easy restarts. Simple install (with help). No problems with quality. Very little creosote even on low.
The stove builds up hot coals and doesn't burn them off. It creates so many coals on cold days that there is little room for wood. I have to shovel out the coals to keep the house warm. Kind of annoying but not a big deal.
Overall I'd recommend this stove. The insert sides are flimsy and will rattle. I added extra screws and the rattle is gone.
Fans are a little loud but that is expected for this much CFM.
I heat a 2200 sq ft home. It keeps one room very warm and the others stay cool. I managed to avoid burning heating oil so I'm happy with this stove.
