Likes: This is an addendum to the previous review that I would like to add based on my experience with this unit as the temperatures plummeted in a relatively leaky and hard to hear Lindal Cedar Home with 14 foot open beam ceilings.
Stove is efficient, small and in my opinion will heat an 800 sq ft poorly insulated space with standard ceilings.

A trailer or a small cabin with low ceilings or maybe an insulated basement or insulated garage would be an ideal candidate. If You around to toss logs in, it won't be too eager for your attention and that is truly nice.Efficient.

Well and solidly made, fans REALLY help the cause and I am keeping this stove and moving it down to the basement. In case of emergency, it will keep the insulated basement warm down there and keep the upstairs plumbing above freezing in bitter cold.I can just feed every 4 hours night and day if the lights go out and the cooking part works pretty well when the stovetop is at 400.

So, keep her to 800 sq ft open plan insulated or 600 non insulated low ceilings with fans cranked and stove stoked and that should get you by.

I need a bigger stove, but as i said, this ones a keeper.
The solid build and efficient operation makes this a terrific little stove for a smaller place, or as supplemental heating in a bigger place, but it will need regular feeding as the firebox is just not that big...

Glass stays pretty clean with good wood and this stove gathers hardly any ash and is overly easy to clean out.

Dislikes: No overnight burns are possible, unless You only sleep 6 hours max at a time, in which chance You may catch a few coals if You are lucky.
Fans are noisy, but they can be converted to 4 inch muffin fans. Just find the 24 volt models and run them off a 12v adapter and it will kick hard and quiet.

A little bit of a learning curve with the venturi damper.

Comments: Would buy this stove all over again and for the smaller sized place it would be tough to go wrong, especially in a burn all day with a furnace kicking in at night scenario.

Very efficient and controllable it is user friendly and i am keeping it, as i have been impressed.

However, need an overnight burn and this isn't that stove.
