Likes: Heavy duty cast iron. Very nice looking stove.

Dislikes: Impossible to keep glass clean, poor air-wash system. Finicky stove, hard to control burn. Broken glass after using in fireplace mode then shutting down for the night. Jotul would not cover. The burn time while it is actually producing any kind of significant BTU's is short and if you shut it down too much to increase burn time, you end up with an burned charred logs in the A,M.

Comments: I have had many wood stoves in my life time and have been heating by wood for almost 40 years. I know what seasoned wood is and how different hard woods behave in stoves. I have adequate draft in clay lined masonary chimneys. I have never had such a bad experience with a wood stove as I have had with this one. I bought it for the name and on the advice of my local stove guy who I have been dealing with for almost 30 years. I paid way too much for this stove to have glass break for no apparent reason and to play a guesiing game on every burn. My half the price Drolet that I have in another part of the house puts this overpriced dissapointment to shame.
