Likes: Good, solid stove. Air wash works well. Overall good design.

Dislikes: Burn times too short. I have had 6 years with this stove and have had tons of opportunity to tweak wood, types, loading geometry, everything. If we are 30 or above, I can usually get 4-5 hour burn times. Below 30, and 3-4 hour burn times. Above 50, and can manage 5-6 hours of heat. I have REALLY tried to acquire a loading procedure to extend the burn time. This includes some spectacular hard wood that really puts out the BTUs. It would be nice to pull say 1/3rd more out of a burn.... because of that, I gave a lower satisfaction. I know this is a not-cat stove and expect lesser burn times, but still... I probably burn 1/3rd more wood than I need to each winter due to having to keep up the loads.

Comments: Still, I like the stove and have grown accustomed to getting up 3 times a night on below 30 temps. Will say it is a damn sturdy build. A solid stove. Oh... I do have a blower that really increases the heat distribution. A huge upside. Just wish I could pull 1/3rd more burn time. That would make it a 5iver....
