Likes: Heated house well. Held a fire well. Easy to start from coals in morning when burning 24/7. Ash pan design is ingenious.

Dislikes: Heavy creosote producer. Dirty stove glass. Loose window glass and gaskets loosen up. Door gaskets worrisome. Damper housing warped. My chimney cleaner confirms that these stoves are problematic.

Comments: An overly complicated stove with many moving parts. The window glass fasteners are not robust. There are many gaskets to monitor and occasionally replace. The damper gasket requires significant dismantling to replace. The damper housing has warped. I am about to buy a new stove after years of low level anxiety about the stove - 2 of my friends who also bought these stoves have replaced them as well.
