Superb product. Burns really hot, clean and long. 1 load of wood lasts 8 hours minimum. Minimal creosote production. Simple effective draft control. Easy to dismantle and clean when necessary(once per year).
Centre support for fire brick burns out in 3 seasons. Replacement part is expensive when sourced from dealer. Ash clean out is sort of useless. I believe it has been redesigned.
When used with the outside combustion air feature, there is no back draft problems. I have used this stove as a primary heat source for the past ten years. My house is a super insulated R2000 type design. During the Ice Storm of '98 it also doubled as my cook stove. Center brick support can be made at any welding shop for about $20.
