Installed in finished basement. Heats whole house after I cut hole and installed grate in upper floor above stove. Stove doesn't blast us out of the basement, low burn lasts all night if you fill firebox with good hardwood. Soapstone stays warm long after fire dies down. Expensive, but should pay for itself in a couple of Wisconsin winters.
Dislikes:
Glass will blacken most of the time on low burn. But cleans off easy with windex.
Comments:
Great stove!
