Likes: Heats very well. I like the ash removal system and the side door. This is a beautiful looking stove for those who want nice cast iron work but do not like the more pretentious look of a Vermont Casting.

Dislikes: The stove's sir flow system is set so that it is difficult to get a new fire going (I even have an outside air vent). The upside of this is that you get better control once there is a good hot coal bed. Nevertheless I am always tempted to 'coax' a new or dying fire by opening the ash tray door. This works very well but is dangerous.

Comments: I burn year round with seasoned maple and yellow birch. You just can't go wrong with this stove. I have friends who are really regreting buying a Vermont Castings.
