Likes: Burns extremely clean. Easy overnight burn, after 14 hours, embers still hot enough to start new fire even without kindling. Glass stays clean. Beautiful unit. The smartest most efficient secondary burner on market, bar none. Extremely well designed air intake and distribution for consistent burn. Burns wood completely, to a fine ash. Use less wood, creates more heat. When outdoors you can neither see nor smell the smoke. This is important to us.

Dislikes: This is second year of ownership. Have found no reason to be unhappy with it.

Comments: As far as I am concerned, Pacific Energy makes absolutely the BEST woodstove on the market. Have owned Avalons, and Jotul. Jotul is far and away the WORST woodstove on the market. Stay away from this brand. Company DOES NOT support it, neither do their dealers. Save your money, buy Pacific Energy. You won't regret it. Neighbors replaced their dud Jotul with this one, after seeing ours in action and after two winters still very impressed with the stove, as are we. Can't say enough good stuff about it.
