Other Information about the Home and Stove
Room Size (Sq ft): basement | House Size (Sq feet): 1,100
Bought in 2005 , Price Paid: $1,300
Location : Wallingford, CT 6492, USA
Purchased from: Fireplace Retail Store - superior stove

Likes: Large fire box, side loading, pretty easy to run. Ash pan is a nice feature

Dislikes: Burn time wasn't as long as I'd like. I think this years wood is better seasoned and I hope that will make a difference. Stove is in an unfinished basement, It takes a while to get heat moving throughout house. That is not an issue with the stove however.

Comments: Owners manual is a bit vague. It does not give any or very good info regarding a thermometers placment, and temp ranges relative to where the thermometer is located> We have found very good results with biulding charge of wood up against the back wall of stove. This heats up refractory(I'm not sure of name of technology) and the stove really starts to role. Good stove shops are hard to find
