Small size, attractive style, heavy and well constructed. My Englander stove throws plenty of heat. The view through the large glass is great, so much so that I don\'t sit in my recliner any more because I can\'t see the fire while watching TV! With a little pratice I\'m now getting burn times (good coal bed) of 8 to 10 hours.

Comments:
At first I was only getting 5 hour burn times. When I got up in the morning the stove would be only luke warm or cold. I spent some time studying the air control and I knew there was more efficiency to be had without modification. The air control consists of air inlets in the front of the stove and a sliding plate that you move left to let more air in or right to restrict the air inlets. I found that the sliding plate had a little fore and aft movement to it, allowing as much as a 1/8 gap between the sliding plate and the front surface of the stove. This allowed more air into the air inlets than desired, thereby affecting efficiency. Now, I run my last load of the day til it\'s in the charcoal stage and after I make and air adjustment for an overnight burn, I use my fire poker to make sure the sliding plate is sitting flat agianst the front surface of the stove. After 8 hours, the stove is still hot to the touch (close to 300 Degrees)with enough coals for a new fire. That\'s better than my dad was getting with his Regency!! This stove is a tremendous value and I would recommend it to anyone.
