Likes: Good value and solid construction for the money. Fire lights easily. Adjustible automatic fan is a plus - you can turn it down (or off) if you're sitting in the room and don't want to get heat blasted. Glass stays clean unless in direct contact with a log, and even then the marks are easy to clean. Fits 19"-20" logs. Our winter lows are typically in the 30s and I rarely need to use the electric furnace.

Dislikes: Fan housing rattles - I had to stick a shim under the blower housing to control. This could be an installation issue; the fan itself is quiet. The bolts that serve as the door hinge would push up and fall out with repeated use, causing the door to come unhinged. I contacted the manufacturer and they promptly sent me a pair of lock washers which solved this problem.

Comments: I recommend this stove if you live in a climate where the winters aren't too cold and you want to shorten the payback period on your investment. I shopped around quite a bit and couldn't find a better value. The firebox is probably a bit small if you live in a colder climate and want to use your insert as the primary heat source. Stove lights easily - I'm halfway through our second heating season with this stove and it continues to burn cleanly. I did invest in re-lining my masonry chimney to ensure good air flow. Also ask your installer to rattle-proof the blower housing.
