Likes: Good to have a stove with 24 inch firebox. Well made unit with heavy cast iron costruction side loading an assit. The front to back (depth) dimention smaller than many competiters

Dislikes: The ceramic handle end a pain-cracks when dropped Catalytic opening inside stove quickly blocks causing smoking through door seals.Buy a long handed wire brush and clean from side door direction daily.I burn Westcoast fir wood.Stove doesn't like large section wood. The 8inch oval to round adapter has poor mating depth stove side, only made leak tight with thin gasket material

Comments: Had smell and smoke in house after installing.Contacting Majestic disappointing, experts always out, and the wood in the westcoast area unsuitable.Best help from my dealer.See also cleaning exaust port above The catalytic element was frightenly efficient to start sounding like a plumers blowlamp but gradually becoming less efficient although cat.element can be seen to be dull red glow, salt from wood an unknown factor. Will try cleaning with 50/50 vinegar this site
