Likes: Inexpensive compared to others we looked at, ease of maintenance. Not flashy looking. Heats entire home

Dislikes: Small box, but it is all we could fit in our fireplace. Low burn times due to small firebox size (5 hours max.)

Comments: We have owned this insert for 5 years, the first two without a blower.....when we added the blower, it warmed the house more quickly, and efficiently. The blower is noisey as all heck at high speeds, and we go thru a control switch every 14 months almost to the day ($25 a pop). We leave the blower off, or on low once the house gets warmed up, or we have guest over......but leave it on high when we turn in for the night. The blower, although it has it's faults, is worth it in my book.....made that much of a difference
