Likes: Beautiful black enamel, great view of fire, flush insert, quiet fan, easy to operate. Warms up fairly quickly on a cold start, fire lights easily, burns great with seasoned wood. Easy to disassemble/clean at end of season. Happy enough to live with it, but probably would not buy again for my only source of heat.

Dislikes: Glass always gets dirty around edges (with door gasket adjusted properly), latch is not sturdy, door hinges seem weak for weight of door. Black enamel shows every speck of dust. Small firebox with poor design, wood has a tendency to fall forward then ashes spill out of the door. Ash needs to be removed frequently. Does not burn marginal wood.

Comments: Jack's Stove Shop had good reviews, but I would not use this dealer ever again. Paid them to clean chimney, install insulated ss liner, block off plate, and stove (almost 4k total). We told the dealer accurate dimensions of fireplace and took pictures, he said it would fit, but the surround was not tall enough to cover fireplace opening. They did make an okay looking piece to cover the gap, at "no extra charge" they kept saying. They appeared to be done cleaning the chimney and getting ready to put the liner in, I asked if they were going to clean the 4+ inches of creosote off the smoke shelf? and they said "if you want us to, it doesn't really need to come out". Seriously? Their idea of a block off plate was 1/2 sheet of insulation stuffed around the liner at the top. While installing they chipped a fairly large area of enamel at the bottom of the stove, tried to touch up paint it before I noticed, promised to replace chipped part but never followed through. Overall they were rude and make some snide comments about how I had gotten such a "fancy stove".
