UPDATE on my Prior Review.
Well I've now got 3 months of burning experience with the Buck Model 74. Last Spring I decided to join the "EPA Stove" world and bought a Buck model 74. It promised heating for 2,000 sq. ft. and 8+hr burn times...ha! My old Nashua did a great job for many years but I was hoping to cut down on wood consumption and creosote. Well I cut down on the creosote but the Buck can't keep up and it uses almost the same amount of wood. With out the blower (which doesn't move much air) the stove is practically useless. I tried to contact New Buck Corp. about my issues with the stove (phoned and e-mailed) and they never replied. So much for customer service.
If your shopping for a high output stove I would not recommend the Model 74 for anything more than a well insulated house less than 1,500 sq ft.
