Likes: Unit has a large firebtox and long burn times. I've used half the wood I was using with my Federal Airtight Large. I fill the unit up about every 6 to 8 hours and it heats up fast and has a very good burn time. Has a large loading door and large window to view the fire. The window has stayed clear after about 1.5 weeks of usage.

Dislikes: Delivery was a bit of a mess. The vendor said the freight company would put the stove where I wanted it (400lbs). When they showed up, it was one guy with a semi and he had no help or way to get it off the truck. Luckily the local hardware store had a forklift for me to use. When loading the stove it tends to burn extremely hot, Several times after loading the stove it ran up to 900 to 1000 degrees with the stove choked all the way down. The manual specifically states not to use a chimney flue as the burn is controlled by the air intake and not with a flue. I emailed the company to ask about controlling the burn and that the air intake ports do not do a good job. They said I need a "barometric flu" to control the burn. I questioned them about their manuals language and was told that the language was addressing a manual flue. If I wanted to control the burn I need a barometric flue. Cleaning the ash is a bit of a pain. There is a metal block that I need to remove from the middle of the burn box. It is a pain to make sure the hole is clear to seat the cap properly back into place.

Comments: Overall I am happy with the stove. As soon as I figure out how to accurately control the burn I wil be pleased.
