Likes: Extra large firebox.
Lots of convection passages around stove
Very good price
Handy damper control placement on top front of stove

Dislikes: Heat shields on sides of stove is too thin and easily dented if wood or anything substantial hits it.

Comments: I think this is a marvelous stove. We have been heating with wood for 12 years but just recently bought this stove. It throws out a lot of heat. We bought the fan to go with and it is a great help because the firebox is well insulated so it is important to extract heat with the help of the fan from the convection panels on the back and sides. The air control allows a good range of draft adjustment. Closing the air control to its lowest position still allows a fair amount of burn. I think this is to prevent smoldering wood if it were possible to shut off the air completely. The ash pan is about average size for what I have seen. We don't use it. Much easier to just shovel the ash directly out and into a bucket. When operated properly, (getting firebox hot first before drafting down) it burns smokeless. Glass stays pretty clean for at least several days. Been using daily for 1 1/2 months now and am very happy with this unit!
