Home Depot Online was so kind over the phone and delivery was outstanding. The stove is easy to install following easy to read specs in the manual which is available online before you start working on your house. The manufacturer claim that it has an airwash system is true. When I open the door, smoke does not come out at all. It amazes me to see it being sucked back and upward.
It is heavy and I needed help bringing it in to put on my newly built hearth. I also needed a collar system to help transition it through the existing class A chimney vent which is triple wall. The stove says it needs 6" pipe, so use 6" pipe. If you go with double or triple wall (Duravent or Selkirk Black)make sure that it is I.D. 6" because manufacturer guarantees workmanship and you do not want to miss out on that new EPA requirement for California it's great.
The workmanship looks deceptively simple, here is a square stove, and it has this plain door. But man this little sucker is thick and has just as thick a double outer shield to emanate heat/or propel heat using your optional blower. I left my blower off. It is so peaceful here with the fire going. I have had it up and going for 2 days now and will keep you updated to my rating if it changes to less than 5 stars or if something smells fishy ha ha !!
