Bought in 2010 , Price Paid: 8,900.00

Purchased from: Stove Dealer - The Wood Guy
Mechanical components, simple and efficient design, very easy maintenance schedule, consumes far less wood than my traditional stove, dealer service (cleanings, installation and system maintenance, water testing etc), total heat and hot water independence
Burn thoroughly seasoned wood, it's worth the time and effort. Also the manufacturer has been around a long time according to what we found (Manitoba Canada) however they're relatively new to the US marketing game, I couldn't find much information at the time of purchase. They seem to be tackling that issue head on today. This boiler is made the way a North American product should be and worth every penny.
Don't go digital, don't go pressurized, don't go over engineered, don't go firebrick, and don't opt for the cheapest way out. This unit was a bit more than what we originally wanted but after running into nightmares with our past units we decided we better do the right thing this tuime around. In the end we couldn't be happier with our g-2 and to this day we have yet to replace a single part. Our dealer inspects the unit twice a year and we have peace of mind.
