Comments: The quality of this Blaze King unit is impressive. It arrived in pristine condition, not a single imperfection. I’ve been burning it for about 10 days now, and so far it has been great. Paint smoked/burned off the stove the first 2 days. I have still been getting a slight paint cure smell on very hot fires. It is an excellent heater. I would recommend it to anyone who wants steady 24/7 heat.
It is not a good fit for someone who wants to put it in a small area and enjoy a flame show. It makes an impressive raging fire on high, but anything under that, and it goes into “boring black box” mode. On high it produces so much heat, that you don’t want to sit close to it. So if you want a serious heater it is outstanding, but if you want a huge flame show you can sit close to and you like to open the door and prod the fire every 20 minutes, this is not for you.
