When working properly, it is a good stove.
Green Start is great.
has a 10" fan.
Try to get warranty work done is almost impossible, they do not stand behind their stoves.
I bought the stove n Sept of 2017, had issue right from the start. My wood would only last about four hours, only if had a full of wood. It heated just fine but went through a lot of wood.
I had to stove looked at three different time because I could not get a secondary burn. They replaced the door gasket every time but this never resolved the issue.
The start of the third year I noticed a piece of gasket sticking out on the left upper corner of the metal gasket plate, this has ten screws and it takes a flat gasket to reseal. I sent the photo to the dealer, who then sent it off to Travis Indust. I was told that it was fine as long it was not leaking air. So I went home and used can air to prove it was leaking(which it was). I then sent that video to the dealer, who then sent it off the Travis Indust. Travis indust sent me a new gasket and ten new screws to replace it. After removing the plate I found why my stove never burden correctly. The plate gasket was installed wrong(the ends of the gasket were connected at the upper left hand). Because the two corner never had enough pressure to seal the plate I had an air leak from the factor. When installing the new gasket I when saw two cracks in the stove on both corner of the opening of the fire box. I when sent photos to the dealer who then sent them to Travis Indust.
It has been two week and I have only received more questions from Travis Indust like eg: What kind of wood am I using? How much wood are you ? What type and length of stove pipe? How much do I use the stove?
What is the moister content of the wood?
