    25 PDVC and Thermostat trouble

    Hi All, I have a 25-PDVC, 2011, I think, pellet stove and I want to put a thermostat on it. I purchased the Honeywell RTH2300B 5-2 programmable thermostat. I initially tried wiring the stove to the thermostat using the R and W terminals on the stat but the stove never seemed to go down...

    I purchased a 3 year old stove and have it running, works very well. I have the stove in my garage. I would like to get the stove running off a thermostat and I have read about it on these boards. My issue is the tstat is not effecting the stove at all. My test was that I hooked the thermostat...
