Jøtul F500 V3. I think this is burning perfectly?
So I’m new to this stove. I think I’ve figured it out. I believe this is the sweet spot from everything I’ve read. All the chambers up top are burning. I just feel like the flames are a little too fast and I’m eating wood to much. The damper is almost fully closed. Maybe 1/4 open. Maybe 1/8th... -

Jøtul 118 - Broken screws, a solution
Howdy! While restoring a Jøtul 118 I managed to break four screws holding the upper parts of the stove. Had I known better I would have moved the screws back and forth to break the rust and creosote apart in the threads, instead I forced them after they came loose and the resistance slowly...- hhsixzz
