Wow quads. It is like Spring out there. Oh how I wish I could get out to cut some more wood...

I see you traded in the "fiskars" for a real maul.......
and you probably just jinxed the spring thaw
better start getting ready for the big storm....

Looking good there, Quads!

Our son was visiting this past weekend - brought his service dog & pet dog - tried to let them run in our backyard - practically impossible due to the continued depth of the snow but the snow is melting, melting, melting enough now that I found our sled that blew away in the blizzard two weeks ago! :)

Looks good Quads

Ya gotta love the snow melting down some so it will firm up when it gets cold again.

Was out there this morning, just with the ATV and no sled, and got stuck pretty much everywhere I went. The slush is really deep. I think we will get more snow and cold yet, but it won't last too long now.

Nope, new handle, same old trustworthy maul.

Thanks loon! The snow froze hard enough that yesterday I was able to use the trailer to haul a load up. Probably will today too. But, tomorrow we are supposed to get 8-15 inches of new snow, so won't even be able to pull the sled in that. Snow won't last too much longer now though.

Good luck quads. We are forecast to also get some of that storm. I think 8" or so for us is the last prediction.

Nothing too unusual, can handle it with one arm tied behind my back!.....

A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM SUNDAY TO 6 AM
CST MONDAY.

* SNOW WILL DEVELOP BY SUNDAY MORNING AND BE HEAVY AT TIMES.
SOME MIX OF FREEZING RAIN OR SLEET IS ALSO EXPECTED...MAINLY
ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90. PRECIPITATION WILL BECOME
ENTIRELY SNOW SUNDAY NIGHT AS COLDER AIR MOVES IN. RUMBLES OF
THUNDER ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. PATCHY BLOWING SNOW IS ALSO
EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT.

* TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 15 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

* VERY POOR VISIBILITIES ARE LIKELY ON SUNDAY WHEN THE HEAVIEST
SNOW IS EXPECTED.

* THE SNOW WILL MAKE FOR TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. IN
ADDITION...LOOK FOR THE SNOW TO BE WET AND HEAVY...MAKING IT
SLIPPERY AND MORE DIFFICULT TO MOVE.

Lastest forecast for us is 6-9" today and tonight. It is expected to start snowing sometime after noon here.
