I have asked a few questions about a used Quadrafire 7100 I am buying.Going to get some pics of it today I hope. I was wondering, I am putting this in a new construction addition on my house with a basement under it. Can these be installed through the wall or do they install in the room with chimney pipe through the ceiling? Which is better? Think I want it in the room with chimney through ceiling and rock all the way up but just wondering what my options are?

Feeling the Heat
From what I've seen on here, a chimney inside the home is always better than one installed on an outside wall. so sounds like you've got the right idea!
