Cut this and stacked it 2 years ago was wondering what it could be, neighbor said white oak but very stringy thinking it may be elm sorry no leaves

Not much to go on there but looks like elm.


kwikrp, is there a reason you don't use the "img" icon and post those pictures right in your posts rather than giving the address?
 
i try to do that but the address comes up instead of the photo
 
True that you'll see the address. If you want to see the photo before you submit, just hit "Preview" and the photo should show up for you. btw, I use photobucket for all the pictures I post and it works good.
