Anyone know anything about this stove?

That's a pretty nice gift if original. It looks like it might be missing the isinglass windows for the upper section, but they can be replaced.

Thanks, not sure if it is original, unfortunately I don't know anything about it
 
I would check all the seams and see if they need any cement and as Begreen mentioned it looks like it used to have isenglas. That's a really handsome stove!
 
I see that brand fairly regularly, as Reading is a few miles from me. They made parlor stoves, boilers, skillets, lots of different items that were cast iron. You might want to consider burning it outside for the first time, in case the paint starts to burn off. Curt

Yes will definitely burn it for a while outside to see how it works and see what happens to the paint.

That's a good idea. It's possible someone painted it for show with low temp paint. That would be a pity, but it happens sometimes. If so it may smoke badly.
