When I first joined Hearth a couple months ago, your avatar caught my eye right away. I've been a Mets fan since 6th grade. Well today I was rooting around in a closet and found this:

It's a 36"x22" latch hook rug I made in high school. It looked a lot better before it was folded up and shoved in a bag for the last 25 years. I drew the emblem on a blank canvas with a pencil and when I was happy with the design I traced over it in black marker and started hooking. Took me 8 weeks and a little over 12,500 individual pieces of 2" yarn. Thought you might get a kick out of it.
