It actually snowed here in ne OH today and is about 32 outside sooo I thought no better way to spend the evening then with a good warm fire and the dogs taking turns warming up by it.....Took a few shots. Hope you like...Stay warm out there!
Not mine. She's an outdoor dog and I have to coax her to come in when it gets below -5°C. She goes to the tile floor in the mud room, which is furthest from the stove. Double digit negative lows are forecast this week.
Yup, the weather here in Ohio looks like it's finally turning to winter!!
The shoulder season was kind of rough for wood burning around here. Too warm for the stove, but just chilly enough to still need the furnace.
I'm thrilled to be back to burning. Gotta love it!! One of my dogs is parked on the floor right in front of the hearth right now too. I think she's more thrilled than I am.
We still have not seen a snowflake here this year. Not sure I've ever seen that happen before as we usually get it at least by Thanksgiving. However, 1-3" is predicted tomorrow night for us. We'll see...
Nice set-up Looks cozy and being an old third baseman, it brings a new meaning to the "hot corner". My labs relocate when the stove gets a little too hot. How does yours handle it?
The dogs will move away for a few moments but then right back to the stove....lol...The one picture does make my one dog look really big...Must just be the angle of the picture....Temp here on Wensday 51 and rain...damn...But good news cold thursday and into the weekend!
