Love my Briggs, especially the Vanguard series, easy to work on, parts readily available and cheap, and they run and run with just a little bit of maintenance.

Huh, yes hopefully they will come out of it ok and go on for many years to come. I live in Wisconsin where they call home as well as Harley Davidson and Kohler engines. I mow lawns in the summer and I had Ferris zero turn with a B&G Vangaurd engine, to- of the line stuff but now my mowers have Kohler EFI engines that are running good too. BTW, B&G owns Ferris Industries. They make nice commercial lawn equipmen.
