Hello all

You have all been so helpful I thought I try you for some more advice.

I made a mistake and bought a 2" oak for my harman p68. I am wondering if we would we still see the benefit if we either just stick the 2" flexible hose in the hole and try to secure it from moving around? Or should we try to find an adapter that fits over the stove hole and connects to the flexible 2" hose? Or should I just buy a new oak and redrill for a 3" hose?

Also... im wondering if we are missing a part that attaches to the stove and the flexible hose. I see online that there is an "air intake weldment". Is that a critical part for the oak?

Thanks for any ideas you have.

I used 3 inch aluminum flexible duct and it slid over the air intake "pipe" and then I used a clamp to make it tight. I would not use 2 inch as you might restrict the air flow and the p68 is a big stove.
