Check your vacuum switch? And the hose that goes to it? Make sure its not plugged.

Also. More info would help.

When was the last time the entire stove was cleaned? Including the vent and ash trap in the back of the stove? When was the last time you removed the combustion blower and cleaned it?

Are you the original owner? If not.... When did you take ownership?

If auger motor won't stop - is it in startup mode? Perhaps a triac on the control board is bad. Try unplugging the stove for a couple of minutes, then plug back in. If the auger motor then keeps running, I'd suspect the control board. Also, are you sure you got the wiring for the motor correct?

On start-up, the auger runs continuously for 95 sec. After that, it should cycle "On and Off" according to the Heat setting?

Thats the only time it should run constantly. May be bigger problems.

Did the old motor lock up? Possible something else happened to the board (Triacs ^ above poster).
