I recently bought a used saw to serve as a backup/limbing saw. I tested it at the seller's place and everything ran fine except the bar was not getting any oil. He assured me it used oil and there were no "burn marks" on the bar that would indicate it had been used without oil for very long. I figured the oil hole in the bar was just plugged with sawdust and it would be an easy fix. The bar was plugged but it still did not get oil. I took everything apart to make sure that nothing was plugged between the oil reservoir and the bar with no luck. Any ideas on what may be wrong and how much work and $ it is to fix? If laid on its side with the bar flat on the ground it will leak oil presumably through the oiler.
