I am looking for a hearth pad or some sort of approved protection for my stove at my cabin. Having had a pellet stove at my primary residence, I know the price of a brand new hearth pad! I am just looking for something safe that will not break the bank that requires a size of 42x41 with an r value of 2. Any suggestions?

An R value of 2 is pretty high. Is this for a 13NC?

That stove has a stout hearth requirement. The cheapest path would be to roll your own on some metal studs + micore + cement board and topping of your choice.
