I was thinking about buying my own chimney brush and poles and cleaning my chimney myself. The question is on my Century FW300011 do I have to take the air tubes and baffle out to get the falling creosote out or is there some other way!
I think you have to remove the tubes and baffle and insulation. I put in a big vacuum, exhaust out the window and brush it from below.
That reminds me, I have to do it soon!
What does manual recommend? If its an insert, yes take the baffle out so all the junk falls down into the stove. It makes it much easier to clean out than sliding the whole stove out.
