Hey guys, i'm about to install a chimney bracing kit .I have two long adjustable poles ,roof mount brackets and the collar for around the pipe..Is there any height or angle that i have to use when installing the poles or collar? thanks guys
You don't want more than 5ft of unbraced flue. Follow the directions for the bracket. Here's a link to the Simpson Duratech manual, directions are on page 12:
