I have a Harman Accentra insert. The manual doesn't mention it, but is there a reason to remove the burn pot, and the auger and scrape the auger tube. I do notice some carbon buildup in there, but the pellets are moving fine, and the auger moves fine and doesn't make any noise.

preventative maintenance; (from Hill Street Blues) "do it to them before they can do it to us"

carbon buildup will contenue , if its addressed before the noise and the auger issues start , the noise and the auger issues wont happen.
