There are a couple of different versions of the Cleanfire's. There is the Hardwoods and then the Pacific which is the softwood version. Pure Fire are a Dry Creek softwood. They burned decent and low ash content(Less then 0.4%). Heat was also exceptable.

If the Cleanfire's are the hardwoods? I would look close at the Pure Fires. If the Cleanfire's are the Pacifics? I would give the Pacifics the edge.
 
Sorry, I have no experiance with Purflame or PureFlame.

CleanFire hardwoods are NEWP's rebagged for woodpellets.com. Lots of posts on CleanFires and NEWP's here. Not a bad price for them IMHO.
