In The Woods
Picture 1038 & 1039 are two quaking aspen that will be bucked up,split and stacked for the shoulder season wood for this year and 1159 & 1160 are some rounds of quaking aspen still in the woods that will be s/s this spring.

Picture 1985 is what we have stacked from last year, any estimates on how many cord we will get from all this wood?

Picture 1979, the rounds on the ground plus what is left in the pile split are also still up top and will be added to this.

Nice pics, Zap. I'd guess close to 2 cords.

Archie, I have you on the board for two cord, the winner will be posted after we have the wood stacked and will win a prize that shall be determined in the future.

I am going to go with 2.5 cords- that would include what you have stacked from last year.

zap, somethin's not right with those pics.
Oh yeah, NO SNOW! WTH?
Most of ours is gone too, but I still see white in the woods, and went tromping through it about 3 days ago.
I'll guess 2.25 cord. I want to win more pics of you cuttin' wood, and the Rhino.

2.01 cord.

PapaDave the pictures are from last summer and yes it looks like this summer I'll be back in the Woodlands doing my best on getting out another 6-8 cord before the snow hits next winter. Looks like we'll take time for two walleye tournaments this summer plus some regular boating in the Adirondacks.

We might head to Tupper Lake then Boonville again (not sure yet) for the Woodsmen's Day also.

Is this like the Price is right? Closest without going over ???? That may change my guess.

Shawn

Zap, the Woodsmans Days sounds like a fun thing to take in.

Zap, tell me about the cart....plastis? heavy duty? (looks like it) where did ya get it? I need something like that for behind the ranger.

Are you asking dry volume or green? I'd say 1.5+ if that's what you're aspen. The correct answer for all the married folks on the forum is "the same size now as when I first cut it, and just as pretty".

Thought I would put this here, ran up top to grab a load of quaking aspen and found some that I forgot about so it looks like we will have more than I thought.
