Saw this will xmas gift hunting. Might make a decent shop heater? But leary cus its way too cheap @$299 plus shipping! Anyone here have one?

I had a Corn flame 5000 before getting my Quad. It was a very basic unit, positive draft so corn only.....worked well with no problems. Their customer service was top notch.
