A driveway full:

Maple, unsplit.

Elm, somewhat split

Red trailer in the background, another load of Maple

Camo trailer (can you see it?), split elm.

Gotta clean up my mess!

Shari, that is great! If you need some kindling, that maple will be great. Splitting it with your hydraulic splitter words great too except you need to know that stuff can go flying when it splits. So long as you are aware you will be fine because you will know the flying splits will go sideways. Just keep people and body parts away in case it does go flying.

Nice to have all that room to work. Looking good!

+1 Monster dive compared to mine...

We are blessed with a nice cement work area. I never measured it but taking a guess it is equivalent to around 4 lanes wide (8' each) and kind of square at this point. A double lane (8' each) leads up to this area. So I'm guessing 32' x 32' of 'work' area and the driveway is still clear for around 8 cars to park. Yes, nice area to work in - bad to try to clear snow from in the winter as garage entrance is to the right side of the picture (side entry garage). :)

Yes You are....I milled one log on my drive and was 2 foot deep in dust. I used the snow plow to move it.

That IS flat concrete. Two pads about 18 x 30 (each) separated by a 18" cement knee wall.

Your stacks are looking great! All my wood processing is done on dirt but It sure would be nice to have some concrete to work on. Then I could work even when the ground is wet without playing in the mud. Keep up the good work!

Nevermind the wood........How 'bout that Rooster!

Oh, that's just "Fred" - he moves around a lot and keeps an eye on things around here. :)

Hey Shari, speaking of roosters, my wife and I were blessed a couple days ago when we watched two rooster pheasants fighting. We watched for about 10 minutes. They split up; one going one way and the other going the opposite. It was the first time my wife has been able to see this.

Dennis, Did you put any money on them?

No Steve but I should have bet something. I could tell right away who the winner would be.
