neat. might just try it this yr when i go camping
 
reminds me of something I put to use in a similar way.. I took the metal cylinder outer body of a water heater, it has two rectangular openings (for accessing the thermostats) and I stuffed a bunch of dry branches into it and lit it. Its height of about 5' produced a very strong draft as the fire heated-up. The strong draft resulted in a very, very hot fire. Natural draft plus heat substitutes for a blower.
