Can gasket such as the Rutland Grapho-Glas (http://www.tractorsupply.com/rutlan...-stove-rope-gasket-kit-1-2-in-x-7-ft--3198284) be used as a replacement or does it need to be the stuff from the stove manufacturer? Looks like Travis industries has their own that I just used but TSC sells the Rutland stuff.

I have replaced the door gasket on my Lopi Freedom wood insert just buying the by-the-foot stuff from the local stove shop, works great.
If that gasket material is the correct size, it should work just fine. I used generic graphite rope gasket like that from the stove shop on my Astoria when I replaced it and no problems at all.
