Dutchwest gas stove venting

I bought a Dutchwest Gas stove model 2465, 2466 used and it came with a draft hood already installed. Here is my question, can I continue with 6" single wall out of the house and than use the adapter he gave me and reduce it down to b vent up the side of the house? I have read the manual, but it seems vague on the draft hood install. Thank.

It talks about the draft inducer hood and shows the reducer.....I'm wanting to extend the 6" to the wall then use the reducer to b vent from this point up the house.....doable?
