Enviro EF2 fan shuts down and then restarts

I've been told that this is done to protect the stove's key parts from melting.

After a while, the fan resumes normal speed.

I set the air flow at about 2/5" (three fingers), use Maine Hardwood Pellets, and clean the stove (vacuum) every 2/3 days.
